Wonderful

My fiancé myself and my sister stayed here for three nights . To celebrate my sisters 65th birthday . What a fantastic hotel . Highly professional staff at all levels . Beautifully decorated to a high standard . Loverly food from breakfast afternoon tea and evening meals . Staff were very attentive and very helpful . Hope to get back to the island to stay there again very soon . C crawley

Braye Hotel Restaurant

We visited the restaurant. As walk in customers . Initially,the receptionist told us there was no seats available, whereas the restaurant was nearly empty.
One of the waiters said that he could accommodate us. Gave us a table for 6.
The service was pathetic,as no one came to take our orders for 15 minutes.
Only when we requested, water was given.
After placing our orders, the main course was brought before the starters.
There was a Portuguese speaking server, who was the only one good.
There seemed to be some subtle discrimination against the French, and also coloured people.
The food was good, but portions too small.
All in all a bad taste left in the mouth after the lunch

Fabulous position but little details let it down

Lovely position , very clean, just small details missing , cushions on the outside chairs where either missing or mis-matched . Room was unbearable , no air conditioning , extremely heavy ,thick curtains and restrictors on the windows , so basically slept in a airless box . Reception staff were ok , I wouldn't say they were helpful or happy . Breakfast was very good and manager very friendly .Overall I would choose another hotel over this great location for a better experience
