Muy agradable/very nice

Glenda and her husband received greatly with a warm coffee after a really long day traveling. They, who are the ones managing the hotel at the moment, are a friendly couple who will host you and give good advice. The hotel is very clean and tidy with a nice roof area where you can relax on the hammocks. The rooms were big and confy. I stayed in the dorm, as this place conbines hotel and hostel, and the room was spacious, enough for 6people that can fit in there. Really good location as it is just 3min walking to the main plaza. And also the buses to the Guatemalan border stop just in front. Highly recomended

A colorful budget hotel near center of city

This is a budget hotel within 1 km of the center of the city, 2 km from the Copan Ruins. The hotel is located across from the local cemetery in which it's colorfully decorated inside/outside as well. The rooms are typical with bed, T.V.. bathroom with shower. .Maid service is on request. The compounds of the hotel is tastefully decorated, painted with bright colors with an upper terrace to relax overlooking the area. They sell souvenirs as well in the front desk should anyone be interested. As for meals they'll offer you coffee with toast next to the front desk otherwise go into town. Just be prepared to hear the roosters crow all night long from your room as there is a farm just outside the hotel. That kept me awake.

Good budget spot

We stayed for one night whilst visiting the ruins. The location is great and the place is very clean, however the room we had was tiny - barely enough room for 2 people to move around the bed! There’s also only one shared shower which has no hot water.

Terrible, do not go here!

This hostel is the worst I have been in so far. Upon arrival I was told that my room was already taken. Then they tried to charge me double for another room, which I did not accept. They told me to go have dinner and come back later, meanwhile they would prepare a room. Coming back from dinner it already didn’t feel well and I shouldn’t have paid for two nights. The hostel is at the entrance of a cemetery and there is a lot of noise at night from animals (dogs, roosters, birds). I woke up at least 20 times last night. The sink was leaking, the room was unhygienic and did not have anything that was offered (no tv, no fan, no airco, no hot water, leaking sink). Basically the WIFI was the only good working thing here. The owner also kept spitting on the floor, without any shame, constantly. Today I checked out and told them politely about the discrepanties. They told me its my own problem and they are not responsible for it. Regarding the hot water, apparently it costs $12 a night (?). I did not get a refund for the extra night that I did not stay. Please do not go to this hostel, pay the extra €1 or €2 and get a decent one.

Lovely place, lovely family

The family were very welcoming, charming and helpful. Always quick to ensure that we were happy and comfortable. Great atmosphere with the multi-level gardens and rooftop space too. If you love geology and artefacts, the owners will take the time to share their interesting collection with you.
Handy location near some good restaurants.
