We needed to overnight in Ceiba before flying to Puerto. Barbra and Rainbow Village came recommended to us but exceeded even the recommendations. She was worried that all 16 of us wouldn’t be comfortable but we were more than comfortable. She took our dinner orders before via what’s app to expedite things and everything we ate was great. The rooms were clean the internet was good, the showers hot, the pool cool. It’s so close to the airport and she took us and picked us up in multiple trips bc our flights were staggered so we didn’t have to hang out at the airport. When we had a layover on our return before vacationing in roatan we called to see if we could lunch and hang with her and she picked us up, fed us, let us lounge at her place for hours, use the pool, took us to the pharmacy, and back to the airport - I feel like we have family in La Ceiba. Everything was seamless and she didn’t charge us for anything but lunch and that was extremely cheap and very tasty! I highly recommend!

The BEST
The location and security of the property are enough to secure these lodgings a glowing review but what sets this hotel aside is the staff, cleanliness, value for money and EXCELLENT food options.
WhatsApp communication is prompt, billing painless and property immaculate.
There is a family feel, meaning you'll not feel lonely at the bar but the cabins themselves are very large and of you so not wish to circulate, your own kitchen, lounge and porch provide ample space.
My AC was cold (and quiet), my shower was hot and my stay so comfortable.
My most recent stay wAs the night of New Year's Eve so I don't feel it fair to comment on the volume of the surrounding neighbourhood but I can say you'll not find a safer, cleaner and more conveniently located property in this city.
The only pitty is I stayed for only one night.
Highly recommend for solo travellers, small groups and families.
Stepping into the Hotel Rainbow Villiage is like finding an oasis (a really really clean one!).
I'll be recommending this place for as years to come and look forward to my next stay already.

Great hotel
Great hotel, nice, big and clean rooms. Very friendly personels, kind and friendly attitude, helpfull. Also have a great food! Have available also Germans beers. Breakfast also good in any time. Plus is also that is very near to the airport. Really recommend this hotel by 100%

Close to the Airport. Great Owner
My wife has stayed here once before and this was my first time. I have to say it's a great little place.
The place is very close to the airport, run by a German Expat, she is so friendly, she picked us up from the Airport if you make arrangements with her prior and brought us to her place. It's a cute place very comfortable, she has a German Sheppard named Rex who is always around, a great Guard dog.
Then we had dinner, and what a dinner it was. There was a group of friends that we met and we basically had something off every page of the menu. My wife had the Spaghetti with Bolognese, and I had the XL Beef Tenderloin with mushroom Sauce. Our friends had Pesto Spaghetti, mixed sausage place, and two schnitzel huntsman.
First thing there is so much food, it's hard to finish, they are not small portions, but they are also absolutely Delicious. Barbara the owner makes everything so it does take some time but it is worth the wait. 2 people couldn't finish their meal.
Then we spoke with Barb about our flight the next morning she told us when we would need to be there so she arranged to have breakfast ready for us about a half an hour before we were scheduled to leave. Then she dropped us off at the airport.
Reasonably Priced, excellent food, fantastic Service, cute place. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in La Cebia.

Great Place
I stayed here with my wife, mother in law and 2 young kids for a night before flying to Roatan. The place was easy to find and the pool was very nice. Rooms are great. Barbara, the owner is amazing. She’s friendly and very helpful. She gave a ride to the airport, about 2 minutes away, and picked us up when we returned. She also cooked us some wonderful German food. It’s a well run great place that I would definitely stay again. She also has a wonderful dog.
