Friendly, welcoming and well located.
Located a stones throw from the diverse and lively Jewish district as well as a few minutes walk from the heart of the city, Acacia is perfectly positioned for those keen to explore Budapest on foot. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay and although there is no parking at the property, there is an inexpensive, secure and automated multi storey car park on the same street.
The apartment is set in a traditional residential block and features three large double bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The hostel features a modern full size bathroom as well as a small W/C. The kitchen and dining area is appointed with all the amenities you could wish for and there is cold beer/coke in the fridge available for a small cost.
Throughout our stay the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, particularly Alex who help us to fix a stiff window shutter in the room. The property manager, Boldizsar was available by email and was very keen to ensure everything was done to make sure our stay was as good as it could be.
All in all, we couldn't recommend Acacia more highly. It is less of a hostel in the traditional sense and far more like a serviced private apartment. It would be perfect for couples as well as companion travellers.
