Better Value and Less Crowded Than Széchenyi

We really enjoyed our visit. Although it’s much smaller than Széchenyi Thermal Bath, we actually preferred it.
The entrance fee is roughly half the price of Széchenyi, yet we felt we got better value. Towels are included (we were given three each), which was a nice touch and something you usually have to pay extra for elsewhere.
The spa has five pools (four indoor and one outdoor), an infrared sauna, a traditional dry sauna, and a cold plunge pool. A few of the saunas were temporarily out of service during our visit, but it didn’t significantly affect our experience.
Another big advantage was that it was far less crowded than Széchenyi, making it much more relaxing.
The only downside was the service at the bar, which was rather slow and not particularly welcoming.

Kind of meh reception by what sent to be tired staff. Got assigned a room next to elevator shaft which was fairly loud. Got a different room when requested, though. Room was alright and mostly tidy except the WC which had a slight sent of urine. AC struggled to keep up with the fairly high temperatures outside. Breakfast buffet was absolutely crowded and staff seemed to be struggling keeping up with demand. The food was medium to low quality. Wouldn’t choose breakfast again.

Wrong type of guests

Please get rid of the moldy carpets. Carpets do not belong in any hotel, especially not a spa hotel. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but the quality was average. Biggest concern however, and the reason we are never returning, was the many Russian tourists. Why on earth?

Lovely hotel. Breakfast exceptionally good. Location a bit far out from city centre, but we preferred that. Ubers easily accessible. Would stay here again.
