The best hotel on the river

The location of the hotel is on river, i’m not very far away from all the major locations and transport. An old style river cruise ship, the style of the boat as old high class luxury style. The rooms are comfortable clean as what a cabin should be. The bathroom is a classic wet room still keeping the style of boat. The staff are very friendly and very helpful to help you. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast which is served worldwide. which was very freshly made. and plenty of variety. We had a late flight out so you have to book out at 11 o’clock as normal of all hotels but the nicest thing about this place is they will look after your baggage and you can still use all the facilities that they actually provided with so you can still go around the The city for one last time
You really really don’t want to miss this hotel a sweet gem on the river

Sad curtains

I stayed here and the curtains do not close all the way, you pull it one way and its not long enough to hide the window, and then you pull it the other way, and its not long enough for that either. At night the street lights outside are very bright and disturb my sleep, and then I get woken up by the sunrise because the curtains dont hide the window. Also there's no fridge, its so hot and I can't cool my water down. Also the tv is only in hungarian, even when there's British shows on, its dubbed in hungarian and the only subtitles are also hungarian. The bathroom was very small and there's not much room to move about. There is only one plug which isnt great because its a twin room. There isnt a great deal of options for breakfast, and you have to be super early otherwise everything goes and they dont restock. Theres no lamps in the room, only big lights which isnt good for night time reading and it also flickers a lot. When we walked in the room stunk and it took 2 days to get the scent out. The stairs leading up to the first floor are very dangerous and small which isnt good for carrying luggage up the stairs. However the beds are comfy but you do only get 1 small pillow. There is also no safe to put valuable items in which makes me feel unsafe. Outside on the deck was very dirty and the floor was crunchy because of the flaking paint. However it is in a good location and pretty central. Good price too.

Good budget-friendly hotel

Boat cabins are small, but have everything you need except a fridge. It is in a good location, depending on what you want to see. As we went clubbing and were two 20-year-old girls, we had to Uber back most nights as the walk was too long to walk at night.
The hotel seemed quite quiet, and you never had to wait long to get served at reception, and the staff were always lovely.
Despite being on the Danube, the boat does not rock at all and is very solid - the views are nice but the windows are quite small so you cannot always see very well out.
Breakfast was nice, however when things ran out they didn't generally get restocked.
Overall, it is a very good hotel for the price we paid.

An experience on the Danube

Beyond the fact of staying in a floating hotel, the level of demand and comfort we experienced corresponds to a two-star hotel in France. All the rooms shown in the photos are taken from the upper part of the boat; those on the ground floor are much less luxurious. Overall, the hotel is clean, but the breakfast in the morning always brings a surprise; something is always missing to meet the clients' expectations: one time it was the coffee, another time the yogurt, etc... the staff is nice but they seem overwhelmed.

so disappointed

Unfortunately we have nothing good to say about staying here as we didnt hang around long enough to try the breakfast. We checked in and went to our room and instantly didn't want to be there. Granted we didn't expect the rooms to be huge but surely there's a limit you'd accept. The foot space was a joke and the toilets are actually wet 'rooms'. Now we've been there we can see all the positive reviews were from people in superior rooms. in the end we spent 10 minutes there and 8 of them were spent finding another hotel, which we did. We did return the next day to pay our tourist tax. Absolutely gutted as it ruined the start of our holiday but turned out ok as the other hotel was amazing.
