Generally very nice

Were helpful from the start when we added an extra person to the booking and this was no bother, as well as arranging an airport transfer for us. The first owner seemed incredibly angry, when we arrived and throughout, but the second was lovely (and even let us off having 50c too little cash).
Location is brilliant, 1 minute from a tram, 10 minutes from the metro both of which are no more than 15 mins out from the centre. SPAR shop was only a short walk away with a larger Tesco nearby too.
Only real negative for us was the lack of air con, sure the fan provided is fine sometimes but in the middle of a 36C heatwave it did very little to prevent the heat (or bugs - definitely bring bug spray!). Was a little noisy too, but this seemed to mostly be down to other guests themselves which can’t be helped.
All in all, would definitely recommend to anyone travelling with friends, maybe less to to families simply due to the ‘shared’ nature.

Good for sleep

The house is located nearby the Budapest Arena. Is ok this location, the nerby metro station brings you on the center. The host is frendly. I like this place because is nice, quiet, good Wi-fi. Good for stay, for sleep. I wouldn't recommend for...longer stay. But the city is so beautiful, interesting and very big. I was in Budapest 3 times.

If you want to passive smoke all night rent the room on the bottom floor

The room on the bottom floor was gritty underfoot. We had to request different sheets as ours were grey and had hair on them. The bathroom smelt. The kitchen floor was also dirty. Both the sheets and towels were threadbare. Other rooms on different floors may have been better as shared bathroom accommodation often is.

Lovely guesthouse with wonderful wooden interior

Me and my girlfriend have stayed two times in Budapest at this guest house. The host is a very friendly and caring woman. The house is located nearby the Budapest Arena. It is well reachable by car from the motorway and the nearby metro station brings you to the center. The rooms are with a very nice wooden interior and for good value.

good for a night sleep

I stayed twice or might be three times here in the past. Only reason I booked it because the location and the value for the few hours sleep I need it was reasonable.
bit difficult to find if someone not familiar with the area. I have no major issue with the place as i mentioned it was perfect for what i need for and would use it again, however wouldn't recommend for longer stay.
