Quiet, accessible by transport

Very pleasant stay, location close to the bus and tram to the center of Budapest, pleasant hosts, independence of accommodation with a collective kitchen in the basement, very quiet place, we loved staying there, a small garden area at the entrance.

Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet locaton.

Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet location. The hosts were very welcoming and spoke good English. Pleasant good sized room with a comfortable bed and good ensuite facilities. Although no breakfast provided at this accommodation all facilities including a toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates dishes, microwave and washing up facilities were freely available in a pleasant dining room for all guests. Easy access by public transport to the city centre.

nice guesthouse

To my personal opinion our stay was fine, value for money, up hill in Buda part of town, free public parking, public transport around the corner. My partner was not that happy: small room, not that clean, no cold water

Pleasant owner

Quiet and cheep place, with beautiful garden.. Rooms are a little bit old, but clean.. and you can get anything you need iron, hair dryer.. :) Parking is free..
Near you can find shopping mall, market, gas station and it is close to Novotel hotel..
Ideal place for business trip..

A very bad experience

Stayed here from August 19 to August 23. Booked this based on some reviews. The property is out from the city. Had to walk a bit from the bus stop. Small rooms. OK from a budget hotel, can't expect more. I travelled with my family from Dubai. As they don't accept credit card, got local currency from Dubai. The land lady as well as the owner of the property make my last night in budapest a miserable night. All the money I had was in HUF 1000 denominations. And they refused to accept the currency. Reason, these are old notes no more in circulation.It's the same notes I spend in my three days stay. Late that night, when I took my family for dinner to a nearby restaurant I used the same currency they refused to accept. and the same currency which they refused to take is used for buying our ticket to Vienna the next day. My passport was with the land lady, and I assured this crazy owner that his bill be settled next day morning and I cannot leave without my passport, but he was keep on calling me for the money throughout the night. Finally I had to switch off my mobile.
I have no idea why people say they are good when these guys are not friendly at all. Very rude. May be they are nice to people from Europe. Keep away from this property, if you are travelling from the rest of the world.
