Terrible experience – dishonest, disrespectful, and extremely poor conditions

I stayed only one night even though I had booked and paid for five. The room was completely different from what was shown in the photos — it was hot, rusty, and uncomfortable, with no air conditioning and beds that felt like military cots. The pillows were flat and unusable, making it nearly impossible to sleep.
When I tried to explain to the staff that I was leaving due to the unacceptable conditions, I was told that nothing could be done because I had booked through Booking.com. I accepted that and left quietly.
However, later I received an email from Booking confirming that the property had modified the reservation to reflect just one night. This showed that the staff had lied when they said nothing could be done. When I returned to ask for an explanation, the situation became worse — I was insulted directly in their language, assuming I wouldn’t understand. I used Google Translate and confirmed the offensive comments.
The staff behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful. I have never experienced anything like this in my travels.
I ended up booking an Airbnb that was far cheaper, cleaner, more comfortable, and in a much better location. I strongly advise other travelers to look elsewhere. You can absolutely find better options nearby.

Um calor infernal, sem ar condicionado, poderiam disponibilizar um ventilador. A ante sala, é uma cozinha, um toilette e um banheiro, mas a falta de educação do seu vizinho de quarto faz a diferença, no meu caso duas moças faziam barulho ate as 24h, e não era possível dormir, junta barulho e calor, a única felicidade foi sair dali o mais rápido possível. Em suma, nao vale a pena, qualquer valor a maior compensa, para nasofrer.

Scam

Rezervace proběhla přes Booking s tím, že se platba strhne z karty která se uložila při rezervaci. Hostitel od nás požadoval hotovost. Po dotazu proč nelze platit kartou byla odpověď, že byl údajně dočasně pokladní systém mimo provoz. Všude po budově mají vylepené cedule cash only a informaci o svém nevýhodném směnném kurzu 1€ = 400HUF, který se dozvíte až na místě. Rezervace byla v € ve kterých samozřejmě platit kartou nešlo a byli jsme vzhledem k okolnostem nuceni přistoupit na nevýhodný převod měny. Vystavit fakturu trvalo 4 dny a je zde očividné, že zde pravděpodobně dochází k obcházení platformy Booking a ke krácení daní. Pokoje byly vcelku použitelné vzhledem k ceně, koupelna částečně plesnivá. Fotky v inzerátech jsou upravené pomocí AI. Celá záležitost byla předána Booking.
