Warm Welcome at Hotel Ozd

This is a great hotel in the town of Ozd. I found everything here perfect for my needs. The staff on reception, Krisztina, Bence and Timea are very friendly and helpful which was especially welcome as I don't speak any Hungarian. They helped me out with all my travel questions, printed out the bus time table and were generally just perfect. Food in the restaurant is to be recommended, especially the bean goulash. The waiting staff are attentive and professional. I hope to return again.

For an overnight stay with no demands, it's okay.

Not bad in itself. receptionist did not speak English but was friendly and we understood each other with hand gestures and short keywords, no problem, the receptionist in the morning did speak English. Room is very small but for 1 night it is fine. The restaurant for dinner is good as is breakfast. Furthermore, the place Ozd is extinct and nothing to do. No place for tourists.

Kínos

A hotel éttermében ebédeltünk többször is a héten. Sajnos a hely a legalacsonyabb mércét sem üti meg. Az abroszok koszosak, nem cserélték őket hét közben. Az ételek egy rossz általános iskolai menzára emlékeztetnek, az étlap hosszúságából ítélve pedig vélhetően nem is túl frissek. Hol túlfűszereznek, hol a sót is sajnálják. A vegeta és a leveskocka alapvető hozzávaló a konyhában. A pincérek kedvetlenek, sokszor kifejezetten udvariatlanok. A kiszolgálás lassú. Az egyik nap penészes kenyeret kaptunk. Elfogadhatatlan az egész.

Az egyetlen hotel Ózdon

1960-ban Hotel Kohász néven nyílt meg, 1997-ben pedig alaposan felújították. A retro stílusú, beton épület átalakítása nagyon jól sikerült, jó hangulatú, élhető terek és szép bútorok teszik kellemessé az utazó itt tartózkodását, főként a közösségi részeken.
Lift nincs, a szobák egyszerűen, de célszerűen berendezettek. A tisztaság tökéletes, az ágy kényelmes, a fürdőszoba megfelel a célnak. Zárt parkoló nincs, az épület előtt vannak parkolóhelyek, amik rendezvény esetén zsúfolásig megtelnek.
Egy kicsi wellness rész és különtermek biztosítják a jó rendezvényszervezés lehetőségét.
A WiFi elfogadhatóan működik a teraszon is. Az étterem és kávézó kínálata az átlagtól jobb, őrzi a régi hagyományokat (kohász leves, kohász tál).
A személyzet nagyon barátságos, segítőkész és szakmailag is felkészült, ami némileg feledteti a hiányosságokat.
A szobaárak és éttermi árak kissé túlzók, de hát ez az egyetlen hotel a környéken.
Az ár/érték arány elfogadható, ajánlom mindenkinek.

einfaches, sauberes Hotel

Das Hotel Ozd ist im Besitz der deutschen Max Aicher Gruppe, der auch das Stahlwerk vor Ort gehört und somit viele Gäste ins Hotel bringt.
Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber in Ordnung, das Bad und die Dusche sind ausreichend groß. Das Bett war leider sehr hart und zu kurz.
Die Zimmer und auch die übrigen Bereiche des Hotels sind sehr sauber.
Im Erdgeschoß ist ein Restaurant in dem man gut und günstig essen kann.
