Pleasant stay!!!

This hotel reminds you of a big country house! It is tucked behind the trees with a wide driveway! The rooms are very spacious with a kitchenette! The environment gives peace! The staff is friendly and on arrival you are welcomed by the friendly chas with his wide smile! Breakfast is good! Our stay has been experienced as very pleasant! Hotel Ovit! Thank you for your hospitality!

Never again

Booked a week's holiday there in May.
On arrival we discovered that the hotel was completely empty apart from us.
The hotel is clean, with nice staff and facilities but the room was dingy.
The pool area was all closed up - not as it appears on the website.
We checked out after one overnight.

Sorry, No wifi netwerk. I can't help you

Even when it was working the hotel does not have fast WiFi in the rooms as advertised. One night WiFi broke down and could not be restored by the staff on duty. 'Sorry sir, I can't call anybody. I know nothing'. The rest of the hotel is okay. Location out of town.

Nice and clean hotel

This hotelis located in the outskirts of Keszthely in a quiet area, the rooms are big and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.The food was aslo excellent.There is a huge free parking area front of the hotel.

Single night stay while circumventing Lake Balaton

While driving around Lake Balaton we needed somewher to "overnight" at the SW end of the lake. We saw the sign from the road and, beening in ultra high season, considered ourselves lucky to get the last room, a suite, available. The English spoken was limited but as we speak good German there wasn't a problem. The hotel itself was full of elderly Germans plus a Norwegian family. There was an excellent pool & jaqusie but, in true German behavioour, all the sunbeds were "reserved" with towels on them, the discipline in the pool not good & the jaqusie continously full of fat Germen fraus. The food was excellent as was the restaurant itself.
