Very nice hotel and staff

My family and I stayed here for one night while I was in town on business. The hotel was very nice - clean, comfortable, well furnished, etc. The included breakfast was delicious! The service was also wonderful, and everyone was very accommodating. My only dislike was that is was located just a little too far out of town. It took about 15 minutes walking to get to the edge of the town center, and another 5-10 minutes passed that to get to the castle. Normally this would be fine, but the restaurant at the hotel is only open for breakfast and there are no restaurants or stores located in the immediate area. This meant a bit of walk to get dinner, and of course the walk back in the dark. Depending on your plans though, this may not be an issue. Also be aware that on Sundays the majority of restaurants in town are no open. Otherwise, a very nice stay!

Good hotel base for local area

Very good rooms for 2 night stay to see Vesprem, Lake Balaton and surrounding sights. Clean and fresh room, good service and breakfast selection. A kettle in room was requested but not available, so small inconvenience. Vesprem disappointing but Balaton, Tihany, Herend porcelain and hill town/ castles were all very good.

Good place to stay for a business trip and/or vacation with family

New, modern hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, located at quiet district of Veszprem (ca. 15min walking distance from center). Great breakfast, very kind and professional staff giving all the necessary information about sightseeing and things to do. Basically good place for staying during business trip and vacation with family as well.
