Fantastic cabin

Beautiful cabin, wish we were staying longer. Clean, comfortable and self check in. Has a little kitchenette in the room and a wonderful view.

Amazing Views!

Our family stayed in two little modern houses for two nights and loved the breathtaking views! The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed with all we needed. You can tell that the property is well maintained with thoughtful touches. While small, the way they were organized and designed made it feel larger. Communication with property manager was easy. The location felt so remote and private but was just minutes from Husavik. We would love to return someday!

Spectacular

Spectacular room
Very comfortable environment, spacious bathroom with modern furniture and everything very clean.
There is a small area to eat and have breakfast, there is no possibility of cooking but you can in case have dinner there with some ready-made food.
I highly recommend it!

A paradise for Northern lights

Without any doubt the best place where we sleep in Iceland. This Guesthouse it’s so comfortable, clean, beautiful and well placed that we enjoyed a million staying there.
We were so lucky that at night when we came out to see the stars we had the chance to see Northern lights, one of the most exciting experiences of our road trip.
I surely recommend Laxhus Guesthouse and I’ll come back next time I’ll come to Iceland

What a great cabin

4 cabins 10 minutes from Husavik. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. Nice deck and chairs overlooking farm fields Skjálfandi Bay. Host very friendly. Microwave, toaster and George Forman type grill. Table with two chars and two other comfortable chairs. Could use a luggage rack. Otherwise perfect, and a great place for Northern Lights as it is dark outside of town. We say them all three nights in early September there, one night a 4 1/2 hour show. We would stay again.
