Clean. Well maintained. Kitchen amenities were good. Not terribly close to anything, but we had a rental car for getting about.

Do NOT stay here! It is unsafe construction site!

Do NOT stay here!!! I stayed 5th floor (504) facing yard. Attached building is for demolishing or major renovation so 8 am heavy construction machinery start to demolish some bldg in yard and also attached bldg with huge noise, smashing, drilling, banging that it was not only impossible to sleep but also impossible to be in the room and scary that wall between room and attached bldg for demolishing would collapse! I contacted management company which was very disappointing! They refused to give me other room tho they had availability! They gave me only extra 2h after 11 am to check out despite 8-11 am onwards was impossible to stay in the room! So 2h extra was no benefit as not only noise but safety was compromised! I had to fight for 20% refund for that night and which I will get as credit and not back to my bank card from booking platform! Owner of hotel was not reachable and did not bother to speak with me! Last day in Reykjavik was totally ruined because of this hotel! Also front of hotel was like construction site with rubbish container infront of main entry and no proper access with luggage etc! They do not accept to store the luggage either! Double bed is like maybe 1.2 m wide so couple should be very tiny people otherwise there is no space in the bed for 2 ppl and couch is very short so not possible to sleep on it at all! They would not even provide extra plastic bag for garbage! Wc locker was broken so seems someone stuck in wc before! Only kind soul was cleaner Marina who tried to help as she could to contact the management company etc! Location is also a bit far from Main Street and city center!

Great location, awesome kitchen, convenient free street parking. The staff replied promptly when we got problem with the WiFi. Just one thing needs to be improved: the sofa bed was too soft and it felt like I was sinking into it.
