Clean room, responsive staff. In the middle of the main shopping street so very convenient. Got quite noisy on friday night but that is to be expected. I did not expect there not to be a door between the living room (sofa bed) and the main bedroom. Some rooms may be a little small for 4 pax with the sofa bed present.

The lift is out of order during our stay so we need to carry our heavy luggage’s up and down the stairs. The bathroom is smelly and dark. No secure storages service for luggage after checkout and broken floor tiles at the door front.

Room was clean, bedding and blankets were comfortable. The listing indicated that coffee was included, however 2 pods were left over. 1.5 rolls of toilet paper was in the room and at the end of our trip we were out without any restocking options. We were given 2 towels, that were also not replenished or new towels made available. The soap, shampoo and conditioners were 1/2 full. Curtains were not blackout as described and only were privacy curtains. The posting specifically addresses secure and onsite parking “a rare amenity.” And when contacting the host, we were informed this is not available as promoted and parking is public parking on the road. Communication and cooperation from the host was nonexistent and response was they would have hotels.com fix the listing, however when looking at the posting on 5/20, the post is unchanged, misleading, and inconsistent. While the location is nice, I’m not sure I’d recommend the hassle and inconsistencies of the posting. There are better hotel offerings, with comparable pricing for the full offerings with more reliable services. Extremely disappointed.

Great rooms with lots of amenities

Great location in the centre of Reykjavik. Close to plenty of restaurants and opposite a small supermarket. Around 20 minute walk to the bus station that provides a number of trips. Rooms are really well furnished, comfortable bed, oven, coffee machine and crockery/utensils needed for basic cooking. Good value for money and very clean, apartments are key coded to get through the gate and your door so you feel secure. The one down side is people letting the outside gate slam behind them, as we were the room directly above we could hear it quite often.

Great spot

Excellent location - central to everything. Keyless access was handy. Only problem was we were on the first floor and the lift didnt work so that was inconvenient re luggage cases. Modern, clean apartment. Nice shower. Comfy bed. No microwave.
