Great solution for a city break
Spacious apartment with two double bedrooms, lounge, kitchen with balcony and bathroom.
Tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need.
Beautiful view of the city.
For us it was not a problem but I point out that there is no elevator.
Paid street parking (there are different areas with different rates and times, which report managers).

Seamless Check-In:
The check-in process was incredibly smooth, as I received the passcodes for both the entrance and the room well in advance via email.
The Property:
The apartment is very well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully set up.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Store Room:
Located right at the entrance, the store room is stocked with essentials such as towels, utensils, coffee, and more. The washing machine and dryer are also available here.
Comfort & Cleanliness:
Our room, located on the 3rd floor, was clean and cozy. Although there's no lift, the stairs are manageable.
Location:
The property is conveniently located near Laugavegur, the main street filled with shops, restaurants, and a BONUS grocery store.
Travel Tip: If you're arriving from KEF Airport, it’s best to pre-book your transport. Taxis outside the airport can be very expensive and don’t have fixed rates. We recommend booking taxi rentals or the reliable Hreyfill taxi app.
Stay Duration:
A 2–3 night stay is ideal to enjoy the property and the surrounding area. All rooms are beautifully designed and well-equipped.
Suggestion:
One small note — the dryer in the storeroom stops after 3–4 minutes and may need maintenance.

Clean, tidy and very well located.
Clean, tidy warm and very well located. The staff was not very helpful if you seek early arrival before 3pm or need storage for luggage. We were directed to use bus station storage at cost (while Tyr does actually have a free luggage storage facility available if you check!) Our apartment was a little bit tired and showing wear in places but overall it was fine for a short stay. Location was excellent for sight seeing, etc.
