Insufficient quality for the price

Suite booked with separate bedroom, junior suite got with all in 1 room. Disinterested staff at the reception, don't look up when you enter but continue chatting with each other. Spacious clean room but noisy on the street side off the main road. Moderate breakfast buffet, unlabelled, without dark bread or oatmeal. Defective coffee machine delivers cappuchino without foam and double expresso standard with milk, appliance for weeks defective dixit waiter.

VERY CONVENIENT

Returning from our tour of Iceland, we stayed one night at this hotel, while on the way there we had stopped at a guesthouse..Very convenient, right on the road and close to essential services, such as pubs, a few shops, gas stations, parking lots, and the famous black beaches.. The hotel is cute, our room had a view of the mountain on one side and the ocean on the other. As a welcome, they had a very appreciated and good dessert waiting for us in the room. Breakfast was standard, with everything you would expect, from sweet to savory, nothing to say... the price is high, considering it is a 3-star, 405 euros is definitely excessive, however, you are paying for the convenient location..

Almost perfect!

Excellent welcome and advice. I put 5 but as everywhere, during our stay in Iceland, meals as breakfast, are at the limit of being cold!

We love Foss hotels. The friendly staff, happy hours, breakfasts, optional dinners, locations with stunning views, and overall comfort of the rooms were all perfect. So quiet! I also like the values of the island hotels chain, of which Foss hotels is the biggest, are portrayed in our experiences with each stay.
