Authentic and blissful
i got reference from there sister hote in varkala . i have choosed there hotels all around my trip . first i reached at varkala from there i got a good services and good advise to Rome-around . they have arranged all my stays in alleppey , fortkochi, and in munnar too . so i was really relaxed unless booking any hotels and any activities alall of the hotels in the same name namasthe the hotel in alleppey is called the wind n waves . i got pleasant stay from all the hotels .
staff also hooked me up with any local activity I wanted to do with negotiated prices from the get go. Sure, they’re not local prices.
If I’m ever back in the region I’ll go back and stay there or at least pass by to say hi and have a bite with the amazing hosts . recommendable .

Very Poor Dining Experience – Not Recommended for Families
We stayed at Waves n Winds Resort as a family for 1 day, and the experience was very disappointing, especially with dinner service.
The staff asked us in advance whether we wanted dinner. We placed our order at 7:30 PM, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. However, the food was delivered only at 9:30 PM, after a long delay. Even then, some items we ordered were completely missed.
When we informed the staff, they admitted that the order was missed and said they would “go and collect it.” We waited more than one additional hour, during which they kept saying “5 minutes” repeatedly, but there was no proper response or follow-up.
There are no nearby restaurants, so we were stuck waiting with family, including children. After waiting for over an hour with no solution, we were forced to go outside the resort to have dinner, which completely ruined our stay.
This level of poor coordination, false assurances, and lack of responsibility is unacceptable, especially for a resort catering to families. Very disappointed and would not recommend Waves n Winds based on this experience.

Sonny is great but....
Sonny is very helpful. And the hostel is a wonderful old style building but needs a little upkeep
Close to beach
Cons
The drain was filled with hair which i had to remove
Water leakages from toilet and the spray thing. Plus its all rusted and quite dirty.
guests need to be told to respect that there are other people staying there as there was alot of noise till 12 midnight hence we couldnt sleep which is why we checked out early even tho it meant we would still have to pay for the night and lose the refund but we didnt care as it was way too noisy.
