Zero Hospitality and Arrogant Staff.

Pathetic experience at The Ramayana Hotel, Ayodhya today. We went for a family dinner, and everything went fine until we stepped outside. When we tried taking photos in front of the hotel, a staff member/guard approached us very aggressively and told us it wasn't allowed. When I told him we were paying guests who just dined inside, he started arguing with us aggressively. A luxury hotel shouldn't treat its customers like this. Incredibly rude behaviour. Highly disappointed!

Beware of Direct Booking - Refund Not Processed for Weeks After Cancellation

Refund Not Processed for Weeks After Cancellation
I booked directly with The Ramayana Hotel for a June 2026 stay and paid the full amount upfront. Due to a change in plans, I cancelled the booking on 26 March.
The hotel acknowledged the cancellation, asked for my bank details, and confirmed that the refund would be processed within a few days.
It has now been several weeks, and no refund has been issued, despite repeated follow‑ups to their reservations and front office emails.
This is not acceptable for a hotel operating in a major pilgrimage destination. I am now filing complaints with the National Consumer Helpline and UP Tourism.
I strongly advise travellers to be cautious when booking directly with this property. Highly unresponsive customer service.

The hotel staff is very honest, after checking out and we were on the Cantt railway station boarding Vandebharat train b

Nice place to stay, secure and accessible, on the Highway. Easily accessible from Cantt railway station as well as from Sree Ramjanambhoomi using Uber or electric rickshaw as well. Hotel also have arrangements for organising the guided visits to Sree Ram janambhoomi which we used for a comfortable visit and darshan of Kanak bhawan, Hanumaan Garhi, Dasrath Mahal, Saryu ghat, Ramlala darshan and visit to GUPTAR Ghat where Sree Ram took jalsmadhi.
