Great stay experience

Relatively new property on the banks of Bhagirathi river, adjacent to Gopal Ghat, 3-4km from Berhampore railway station.
Mr.Debajyoti & his team of Rupen, Obaidullah, Asim, Teertho & others are truly customer oriented, helpful, accommodative, responsive.
Rooms are great , but space is just for 2 folks. Very good bathroom fittings, 24x7 hot water is available, good toiletries.
Restaurant: Soulmate, provides enchanting view of river bank, and offered fresh, delicious , sumptuous food in decent setting. We had our dinners over here by virtue of the service, taste.
But overall cleanliness can be and needs to be improved by housekeeping.
Daily cleaning, upkeep of bed is very nice.

1. I read in a few reviews that this hotel offers a mini size room for MMT ..I was not sure a hotel getting good rating has such complain on size. but we were alloted a ground floor room where a family could feel like sitting in a all side blocked AC room with hardly any leg space . further all ground floor rooms stand next to boundary wall of 6 feet height and another building stand adjacent and raises serious security concern .
I was worried for security and size and requested for a room in upper floors with minimum standard room space . but the muslim guy at reception his name perhaps Safikool first inform that after the checkout they will change the room . but ultimately with one pretext or another made us stay the night in the worst security violated rooms.
Then the passage adjacent to room 101 102 103 104 is the place where till midnight the staff of the hotels will shout and quarrel among themselves and since the rooms are not made sound proof , you will find it hard to sleep till the boys decides to call it a day.
inform the reception to change .
2. In the morning , the man managing the reception was found happily moving down the floor at 7 am while playing in full volume a hindi song.
3. when I called the Reception that we will be checking out shortly ...we got a call back asking us to wait for half an hour as the reception manager is not in the hotel . we told them that we cant wait as we have to catch a scheduled transport or else we will miss it.
