Authentic and magical experience

Bassi Fort Palace is a real palace, a little tired but totally authentic, and the result is a magical experience. We were the only people staying there, and we had the pleasure of dinner for two on the terrace by candles and moonlight. Breakfast was also on the terrace. Dinner was either a non-vegeterian or vegetarian option so we ordered one of each - the meals were delicious. Breakfast was a limited selection but completely acceptable - the fresh omelette was delicious.
We stayed at Bassi Fort Palace for one night so that we could have a full day at Chittorgarh Fort. The hotel is about 30km away from the Fort. The village of Bassi, which is around the palace, is an interesting place to walk around

ANTIQUE AND AUTHENTIC CHARM

Very few choice of hotels in Chittorgarh, a little away from the major tourist places. Go there: it's worth it and spend a night in this charming old fort. There were only 3 of us there! Huge room with antique furniture. To be renovated but it is very authentic. Lovely staff. Very decent breakfast and dinner.

Idyllic stopover

Bassi Fort Palace ticked all the boxes for us, a beautiful  heritage property steeped in history, family hospitality and a peaceful ambience. Unlike many hotels , there's no sense of being 'processed' to make way for the the next customer. Host and staff were always available to us and helpful for a carefree stay. Clean and well located, a great stop-over.

Excellent stay

Its was solo trio from sode and I want tk explore Rajasthan so I stayed for one night over here and got homely food if you want tk enjoy Rajasthan you need to come in bassi and will enjoy my stay with food and accomodation
