Review:Nothing fancy here—the Blooms Stay Inn in RT Nagar has more of a basic hostel vibe than a hotel.
The Good:
The rooms and bathroom appeared to be clean.
The bathroom was quite spacious.
There was a working extractor fan in the bathroom.
They allowed outside food delivery.
The Bad:
Sparse Room Setup: Very basic double bed with minimal furniture (just two folding chairs, a small table, and a small wardrobe).
Broken Amenities: There was a smart TV, but the set-top box was removed. The AC didn't work initially.
No Intercom: There is no way to call the reception. You have to walk down to the first floor every time you need something.
Service Struggles: The room boy barely understood the local language. I had to guide him that the main switch for my AC was likely down near the reception to get it working.
Bathroom Missing Basics: No hooks or racks to hang towels, and they only provide liquid soap instead of soap bars.
With some effort, I managed to get them to bring up plates and cutlery for my outside food. If you literally just need a clean bed and don't care about service or amenities, it's fine, but otherwise, it's highly inconvenient.
