Great Location & Ambience. Pleasant Stay, Though Service Can Be Improved

We stayed at The LaLiT Ashok during the 1st week of July'26 and had a pleasant overall experience.
The biggest highlight of this property is its lush green surroundings and peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a busy city. The location is convenient, the campus is well maintained, and the hotel has a charming old-world character. While some parts of the property could benefit from modernization and refurbishment, the greenery, hospitality, and overall atmosphere make up for it.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overviewing the Pool. The breakfast spread offered a good variety of options, and the food quality was good. The staff members were very courteous, friendly, and always willing to help.
One area that needs improvement is room service and in-room deliveries. Orders often took longer than expected to arrive, and we had to make reminders, and follow-up calls on multiple occasions. For a hotel of this category, faster response times would significantly enhance the guest experience.
Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable time and would recommend The LaLiT Ashok for a peaceful & pleasant stay.

Excellent choices of breakfast. Staff service was exceptional. Little outdated rooms but the service made up for it.

Staff was extremely friendly. The dining staff was very helpful, always smiling and attentive. The food was excellent with a wonderful lavish spread for breakfast. The front desk equipped my Mom with a wheelchair and were always available to help her with in and out of the taxi. All in all, an excellent experience!
