great staff, great stay

Staff is very helpful, rooms are very spacious and the food is good. Thanks for a great stay! If i ever return to Darjeeling this is my adress.

Never book this hotel...no service poor quality

They provide poorest of the poor kind of service...if there would be a zero rating it would be best i think.i just spent October 01 to October 02 in this hotel with my mother.. they just provided no service..room was smelly , poor quality, dirty,food quality was poor....service very bad...for food we ordered before 8.45 pm and asked them to serve at 9 pm..after 9 .25 pm we have to knock at least 3 times to get our dinner..they were telling they r busy due to customers..are we not the customers?? Are we not paying??so pathetic service..they have deducted extra one day money..though we have to change the hotel as we were unable to stay there

Hotel marvell

This very good hotel. I stayed twice. Alcohol is not available in this hotel. It is very good for those who don't take alcohol and also for family. Darjeeling Mal is very near to the hotel. There is no car parking. YOu will get lot of veg non veg restaurant near to this hotel.

Do yourself a favour and don't book your stay in this pathetic hotel!

Really disappointed after staying for 2 nights. Only good thing is rooms are quite big and well furnished. But it is a really old building so walls are damp (you can literally see damp stains even through the plastic paint, and even the blanket cover had mold growing on it). No hot water, TV doesn't work, plug points don't work and so on. No lift in the building, so if you have elderly or disabled family members, please don't stay here. The food in the restaurant is good but ambience is not, some local goon type men frequent this place so not a nice atmosphere, particularly for young women. Lastly, although it is near the Mall Road such that Keventer's & Glenary's are within a short walking distance, it is located within a narrow lane which makes parking extremely difficult and most cab drivers do not want to go to the hotel entrance in fear of getting stuck (not being able to turn and reverse).

Pathetic Hotel Ever I have seen

If there is 0 Rating than I should give 0 very Very Bad Experience with this Hotel ,Firstly they they sale a Room on High Price as online in their website it's showing low price when we asked about the Price They said that is old Price which was showing online.
