Cozy room in a scenic valley

What a wonderful experience! Beautiful location, clean cozy rooms and delicious food. Farooq and his family were so kind and welcoming. I could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Hotel Akbar, Sonamarg

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Akbar, Sonamarg, our group of 4 families (9 adults and 4 kids). The property is nestled in a stunningly beautiful location, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere — perfect for a peaceful getaway. A special mention to Mr. Arshid, a soft-spoken and courteous gentleman, make me book our stay in this property. The food was delicious & despite the chilly temperature of -7°C, the hotel ensured a warm and cozy experience. I would happily give 5 star rating it is a great value for money, with competitive rates and high-quality service and highly recommend Hotel Akbar to anyone visiting Sonamarg.

Love with hotel akbars staff

Food is osm & location was nice '
Rooms are neet and cleane .staff was humble especially mr faizan .

Welcoming and very comfortable

Stayed here on my way from Srinagar to Ladakh. This was my third time. Each year is better than the previous. The rooms are clean and very cozy, in a very Kashmiri way.
The food is quite good also, and the staff very welcoming. I will surely go back again.

Beautiful and a cosy place

Its a cosy place with beautiful views of sonmarg and is located at one of the best spots in sonmarg. It feels free without any hotels close enough to block the views and has a river interconnected with the hotel. The Staff was very well spoken and welcoming it felt like home
especially Faizan, he provided us a warm welcome. we enjoyed the stay there
