Comfortable n value for money stay in Gangtok

Very nice, comfortable stay. Large n spacious room. Owing to few guests at that time they didn't offer buffet breakfast but the food items served otherwise were extremely tasty. Service was very good, they'd promptly turn up n help with the asks.

Worst hotel with worst employee

Hotel is ok.
Room size is good.
Worst behaviour of employees, specially front desk manager Mr.Rajesh.
It's an harrassment to guest.
They don't give water.
They have restaurant but closed.
They don't provide or help to get transport.
Very rude behaviour of owner as well.
They give cash memo, when asked for GST bill they threaten the guest.
Hotel is too far from MG road.
No view from the hotel.
If you want to waste your money, time and energy then only opt.

Highly non-recommended. (Do not waste your time by searching this hotel for your stay)

The Leenor Regency hotel is showing as 4 star itself but there is no such facilities like that moreover, the pictures shown in the websites vary vastly with the original hotel look. We booked rooms for stay and when we reached at the destination we weren't able to find the entrance and on calling the front office guy they disconnected the call and didn't called back since then, it was already night and there was no lights in the hotel and was looking like a wierd lodge which is closed. We were being told by the nearby shopkeepers that there is loadshading(nearby lights was enacted, one hotel nearby to it was also having proper electricity) but there was no generator or inverter facility for such mishappenings. We also asked some nearby shopkeepers about the hotel entrance but no one knew where the hotel is whereas the hotel was above there shops.
We didn't expect a 4 star hotel to give such a pathetic hospitality. Even no one took pain to respond to us so that we can reach to the destination properly.
The hotel is just waste of time to search for a stay. Seriously a pathetic experience.

Unacceptable behavior of the hotels manager,Me. Wasim, with the guests

Leenor Regency would have been a decent hotel if not for the manager, Wasim, who runs the show in this property like a ring leader. He has zero knowledge about courtesy or hospitality. Being from the hospitality industry this is basic. This fellow seems to be just picked up from the roadside and placed on the managers chair. The overall experience is therefore horrid and very unpleasant. He is only looking out at making overhead earnings like giving out room heaters at an extra charge. Charging and lecturing guests on the smallest of stains on the bedsheets. If the owner of this property manages to read this review..they should take this as a genuine advice/feedback, and get a replacement for this uncouth person for someone who atleast knows how to make the guests feel welcome. He is definitely ruining the reputation and the business of this otherwise newly founded property. Besides this the hotel rooms are pleasantly decorated and are clean. The other staff is also helpful.
