“Excellent stay with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. The service was prompt, the location was convenient, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.”

Excellent Stay, but Food and Beverages very average and a let down
Good things -->
1.Location Perfect, bang on highway, very near to Hari Ki Pauri 2.Semi-private ghat, neat and clean for a holy dip in Ganges
3.Excellent parking space 4.Good facilities
5.Bhajan sandhya is very good
6.Extras- Tambola, Free Henna session, Religious welcome are icing on the cake.
7.Friendly courteous staff
Bad things -->
1.Bit overpriced, beyond rationale
2.Cleanliness not upto the mark. Room carpet was wet. Linen looked unchanged from previous guests.
3.Food and Beverages highly over priced vis-a-vis variety and quality
4.Trying to copy five star hotels like Marriott and Taj, but comes no where near
5.Restaurant cannot handle crowd /peak hours, the service personnel vanish during buffet breakfast time, keeping u wondering how to place requests for emptied food caskets.
6.Shakki management, despite not having touched anything from Mini bar in room, sent personnel to get it checked and found I was right. Never came across such situation in lifetime, always stay at Taj / Marriott.
