Mixed feelings

The rooms and facilities were very good and so was the location, a short walk from both the lake and the fort, however our experience with some of the staff was off-putting. Reception and porters were wonderful. We can’t comment on the restaurant as we never ate there.

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Jaisalmer

I couldn’t have made a better hotel choice for my stay in Jaisalmer! The location is simply perfect — within easy walking distance from the intercity bus drop-off point and all the main sites, including the majestic fort. One of my favorite moments was relaxing on the rooftop terrace, enjoying the stunning fort views at sunset.
I especially loved the walk up to the fort — it was pleasant, not too long, and allowed me to soak in the vibrant town vibes along the way. It really made me appreciate the beauty and atmosphere of Jaisalmer even more.
Even though I visited during the offseason when temperatures were soaring, the room remained wonderfully cool thanks to the thick stone walls and a powerful AC. I absolutely fell in love with my room — the authentic Rajasthani layout and beautiful decorations made it feel so special. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, and the window chambers were incredibly cozy — the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a full day of adventure.
The staff truly made my stay unforgettable. I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Milly, Sumar, and Yasin for taking such wonderful care of me. They ensured I experienced the real spirit of Jaisalmer, arranging a memorable trip to the desert and looking after me every step of the way to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and happy.
I’m already dreaming of coming back to this marvelous city and this incredible hotel to explore even more of what Jaisalmer has to offer. Highly recommended!

One of the best hospitality experience ever!

I've travelled quite a lot both in India and outside and will rate my experience here as one of the best in hospitality ever experienced. I travelled to Jaisalmer in early Nov 2025 with my family (parents in 70's and younger sister). Coming from a part of the world where service providers operate with a money minded mindset and no additional client service is provided without an extra cost, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my request for another room due to feeling claustrophobic in the current one I'd paid for was very graciously accomodated at no extra cost by the reception person Changez Khan.
He even provided an upgraded room for my old parents on the ground floor who found it difficult to climb stairs (no elevator in the facility). He was exceptionally polite and had a thorough service mindset where everything from requesting for a kettle to arranging for a reasonably priced, clean cab with a knowledgeable driver to Sam Sand Dunes was taken care of. No stress and no haggling. Just easy and smooth way of client dealing. Very impressed.
Facility and rooms are very beautiful and clean, all staff are very polite and food is delicious. Conveniently located near the fort, public transport and grocery stores can be found at a walking distance just outside on the main road.
The hotel exceeds its 3 start rating. I've experienced worse service at hotels rated 4 or 5 stars during my earlier travels.
However, there is a bit of room for improvement in quickening up room service time/food service at the roof top restaurant (it took almost 45 min to an hour for the food to be served). Also, there is no security guard at the entrance considering the facility is situated in a dimly lit quiet back road. While I faced no safety related issue this is something which can be looked into by the management.
All in all a very pleasant and hassle free family stay. Everybody was happy at the end.

It was fine. The service was great! Cleanliness can be worked on. Found a hair or two that wasn't mine in our bed. Otherwise all good!
