Kalinga Hotel & Bar, Jidhpur

Kalinga Hotel just across to Jodhpur Railway place is an excellent place to stay. I been patronizing this hotel since ninetees. Very neat spacious hygienic rooms impeccable service & cuisine with bar.

close to the railway station

Kalinga Hotel is located close to the railway station, which is convenient for those arriving by train, but less practical if you need to move around on foot. The area near the station is not very safe, especially in the evening, so it’s advisable to get around by tuk-tuk.
The staff were kind, but the room cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathroom was dirty, with visible urine stains on the toilet. The small table looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and even the bed sheets were not clean. Breakfast is only for Indian guests, with no options for Western travelers.

We sincerely apologize for your concerns about cleanliness. Following your review, the room and toilet seat were inspected, and no stains were observed at that time. Had these issues been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have been happy to address them immediately. Nonetheless, we have shared your feedback with our housekeeping team.
Regarding breakfast, our buffet offers a range of non-Indian options, including assorted fruits, fruit juice, tea and coffee, eggs prepared to order, sandwiches made to order, cornflakes or porridge, and butter-and-jam toast.

Clean, affordable, good breakfast and great location as its just next to the railway station. The only difficulty for me was that there is no window for the room I stayed.

Best location in jodhpur kalinga hotel and restaurant

I and my family went to Kalinga Hotel. We stayed there for a day and had breakfast and dinner there and had service in this room..
Mr. Magan Singh,,, provided very good service and he is your man and the atmosphere is: The food here is very good. Delicious and very good.
