Good food & service

Genesis retreat is now DVG Socials. This is an Excellent place with fantastic food. The place is well done with lot of seating place and great appetisers/starters. All food items we ordered was good coupled with chilled beer. Good place to hang out. Definitely recommend this to all. Good place to stay as well on the highway with nice cottages & rooms.

Good place to stay while you are driving to Goa

It is about 4 and a half hours from South Bengaluru towards Goa. The place is called Devengere, it looks like a small town and you will have to take a service lane to get to the resort. The service lane might look pretty deserted, but the resort is nice. The good thing is that the resort is right on the main highway and you don’t need to drive inside.
We stayed there while we were heading to Goa. Our first impression on reaching the resort was, like ok, we have to spend a night here for which it is just fine, but as we moved around the resort our thoughts changed. The resort is very beautiful. The best part of this resort it’s the restaurant and the food there. They served amazing food and they have an awesome restaurant with a seating capacity of over 200 people including the poolside arrangements.
The Food on top of it was classy, and the staff was very very good. It made our experience very good and we just loved the place. Rooms are just ok for the night to stay with Air conditioner etc, but the restaurant is in a different league.
Good stay while traveling to Goa, amazing food, and a great restaurant- enjoy the food there. You can avoid taking morning breakfast as you can start early.
