Room and shower were good. There was a puddle of water in the wardrobe area, needing to be mopped. Some things like the fixtures, eg. lampshades had stains that need cleaning.
Receptionist on checking in was ok, but could be better if they slowed down when trying to convey information. They must be saying the same words over and over for each guest, so the person tended to speak very fast to get their spiel across. They also gave a room key that was chipped and broken, but functional. A smile is also welcome for weary travellers.
Breakfast service was great. Some confusion about queueing for seating, and taking orders for coffee, could be improved by making the communication better between staff.
Overall good stay, but for a premium hotel, should also focus on the details to elevate it to its advertised status.

The staff was terrible, I left my water bottle at check in I had to call 4 times and after waiting for about an hour I had to walk down to check in get to manager give him a practical lesson on how long it takes a person to walk to my room vs it took more than an hour and someone was not assigned to do that! Bottle was brought by the manager after the lesson. Such a terrible staff management or training

Taj as usual is always outstanding irrespective of the country or city you stay at . The staff are truly outstanding and make every effort possible to help the guest with their needs .only small suggestion , as an airport hotel literally a 5 min walk to the terminal , a complimentary airport shuttle would have been appreciated since the airport provides one when you land but unfortunately the hotel doesn’t provide the same while heading back and you have no option but to use their paid shuttle service . I would have thought an airport hotel literally linked to the terminals with a long walkway would have a shuttle service .

Great stay at Taj Bangalore – perfect for avoiding traffic!
Choosing to stay at the Taj Bangalore was a great decision to avoid stress and traffic on the day of departure. It is practically right at the airport, which made things so easy.
The hotel and the rooms were excellent. We didn't have enough time to try out the outdoor pool but it looked great!
The staff was very helpful everywhere we went, from the front desk to the restaurant and luggage team. As a huge bonus, they even assisted us over at the airport all the way to the security check-in.
Happy to recommend the hotel!
