Average Hotel in Kashid Beach

We recently visited for 2 Nights stay, price is okay, you need to negotiate with the Hotel if you are going to check in directly.
Advantage:-
Just 300Mtr from Corner Beach (Not Main Beach)
Veg Food Quality is Nice
They have a Good Music Systems
They have Back of for Lights & Fans.
AC works fine
If you are in a group, you can enjoy the space.
Disadvantage:-
No Proper Cleaning of Room & Restaurant
No TV in Room
No intercom from Room to Restrauant

Overall Okay!!

This Property is located about 2 kms ahead of the main Beach of Kashid on the same road just near the end point of the Beach.You can just walt to this end point of the beach within 5 minutes from the Hotel. We had booked a family room which was spacious but not upto the mark in terms of cleanliness. The food is just okay.The staff is mostly polite but doesn't have any professional training. Overall not so bad. We should encourage such Rural Ventures and help them improve

A below average hotel

If you are looking for a stay in Kashid that is worth the money, better avoid this hotel. First of all this hotel is not near to the main beach, it's at the far end of the beach where there is a separate opening that side. The rooms are not good, torn matress, no towels, cleanliness not upto the mark, not working tv etc etc. Food price is too high which you can't even think of in such a hotel. The main reception is far away from the rooms and no one cares the people staying unless you call them by going there. I had a very bad experience also, a group of people next to my room was shouting and making loud noise all through the night, no one was caring it, my kid can't sleep till midnight and finally I had to call the reception to ask them to request to lower the noise.

Trip to Kashid

Visited Kashid once again in March-17 during Holi weekend.
This beach keeps calling me again and again. White sand,cool breeze,less crowded compared to Alibaug and good for family who like to enjoy in less crowed space.
Nikhils Inn is decent enough to stay. I booked it at last moment so got it bit expensive at 3.5 K per night with BF included and tea. Food is decent enough. But kids cannot enjoy inside as they do not have any indoor space.
Car parking is also an issue ,not more than 4 cars can be accommodated within the premises, need to park on the main road.
Its a simple hotel managed by Subahs Khedekar and his family. So keep your high expectations aside once you step into this hotel.
yes there are better options, but could not explore other property.
For beach lovers with serentiy and less of din, this is a must go place.
Took off from DAhisar early morning 6:30 and reached around 13:00 hours. Traffic at panvel,wadkhal naka added to the woes.
Roads are bad,as construction is in progress,poor signages once you cross alibaug. So once you take left from Alibaug look out for right turn for Murud and follow it. I missed it and drifted for 6 Km etc until some locals helped me out.
First timers do not travel in night. Make it in day to kashid.
For temple lovers ;move ahead of Kashid towards Murud for around 5 km a place called Nandgoan will come, it has a good ganesh temple to spend some time either morning or evening.
Travel towards Murud around 14 km from Kashid and you can visit Janjira fort via jetty.
Some 12 km ahead of kashid there is a bird sanctuary , but we missed it as sundays it was closed. The road is bit rough and towards roha from Kashid. So make it during day time.
Hope you all find this quite informative.
Evening enjoy some hot tea,bajiyas or fish in the beach side shacks,that should be enough for the night.

This is a trap run by an unprofessional person who does not mind cheating & intimidating

So I picked this due to a reference given by a person in good faith based on his experience. I was told about humble property but good service. I booked & transferred 100% in advance which was 6000 per night for something this guy told to be a bungalow. My best guess is that he has rented that bungalow (or rather deserted property) from some one else to trap unsuspecting visitors like me. I made enough calls to this guy informing him at all stages, including money transferred, I have started for the location (driving from Mumbai) & am half way etc. When we reached there - we did not find anyone to welcome or help us. So his bungalow trick (I would call it trap) is next to Kashid beach resort. A security there stopped us and told that there is no vacancy. Some calls back and forth & we were provided with keys to this deserted bungalow by a security guard there. On opening the doors we were horrified. Having traveled 5+ hours on 30th April all we needed was some rest, However the bungalow gave a look as if no one has cleaned or opened it for ages. In the main bedroom (having AC) there were towels thrown in bed & sheets were left messed. The so called bungalow was full of filth including beer bottles right next to back yard door. A filthy junked foam mattress, a rusted fridge, a broken cane wood sofa, & listed goes on. The bedding seemed borrowed from here & there. This person did not have any sense of sorry about the mess he put us in. His excuse was that his person responsible for cleaning did not do the cleaning. During lunch we were served poorly prepared food hastily under a tin shade that was boiling hot in the afternoon. After this we did not visit this main property which is about a KM from this Bungalow trap. We ordered milk & tea from the bungalow and were obliged. We took dinner and next days breakfast else where. On top of this mess this person had greed to slap a 1450 Rs bill for all the junk he offered us to eat plus evening tea & milk. He kept chasing me for payment till I reminded him of the mess and declined to pay. Dear travelers please be aware of such traps.
