Terrible Experience at Avondale Luxury Cottage Munnar - A Warning to Others! Stay Away!!!
*The cleanliness of the rooms was utterly unacceptable
*The floors were dirty, and the bathroom floor was wet and muddy due to a tap leakage.
*The mattresses were in terrible condition
*The presence of a persistent foul odor throughout the resort was simply unbearable.
*There was no electricity while we reached there to check-in and nobody was there to handle the situation
The rude response we received from the resort owner when we brought these issues to their attention. First he agreed to refund the advance we paid, he later backtracked on his words and I lost the money.
I strongly advise against staying at Avondale Luxury Cottage, Munnar. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by choosing a different accommodation option that prioritizes cleanliness, guest comfort, and respectful customer service.

Resort with a beautiful river nearby..
The main attraction for this place is the river that is flowing close to the resort..the sound of the water flowing through the rocks ..just reminds us of Spring season.. it was a very soothing experience !!!
Our group (including kids) really enjoyed the stay.. we spent a lot of time in the river premises..(was safer for kids to play around)
Upon request, the staff arranged Camp fire and Barbecue for us ! it was really good!
Only concern was, food served this time was from outside..what we understood that due to COVID-19 restrictions, their staffs are not working in full quorum. So we hope in our next visit, we can enjoy their homely meals too!!
