Crossing the village, unlikely road to reach the hotel, nice surprise....

Unlikely road that leads to the hotel, we wonder where we will arrive , hotel run by a very nice and friendly family, with little care.... Small flower garden, Nice and clean room, shower products, air conditioning, window opening for smokers, restaurant and nice breakfast

Best avoided

The hotel is located at the end of a long dusty track just off the main road. Much more than the 800 metres the hotel claims. It takes about7 -8 minutes by car.
At first glance the hotel appears modern and clean, full of marble, but upon closer inspection it is not. It has been cheaply done, bannisters wobble and the furniture is poorly constructed.
We had a suite, which was very spacious, but again everything was poor quality. The bed was uncomfortable, the bedclothes thin and made of a nylon type material. The air conditioning was difficult to handle so we relied on open windows.
In the bathroom it takes 4 to 5 minutes for hot water to appear in the shower and as soon as it does the water quickly turns to almost boiling hot. The taps are of such poor quality that they are difficult to manipulate and so your shower is either cold or very hot.
As it was impossible to walk to the town at night, we ate in the restaurant. They do not seem to be expecting guests to eat there as we were told food would take at least 45 minutes and not everything on the menu was available. What we did eat was good and tasty, though.
You are asked the night before what time you would like breakfast and what you would like to eat. On the first morning, breakfast was ready 15 minutes ahead of the stated time. On day two it appeared about 30 to 40 minutes after the agreed time. There were no other guests in the restaurant at that time.
We only stayed here as the 5 star hotel we wanted was fully booked. This hotel is described as 4 star but is nowhere near such a rating.
If you are on a budget, maybe give it a try, but if you have the option I’d recommend going elsewhere. We certainly won’t be returning.

Not meant for senior citizens

The approach road is through rural areas. There were no lights. It was full of pot holes and cowdung. The hotel claimed that cars were available to take guests to and from the main road, but they weren't available whenever required.
There were innumerable chandeliers and fancy lights in the hotel but BASIC AMENITIES were MISSING.
There were no lift/ elevator facilities. It was particularly inconvenient because the dining hall was on the first floor. It was very painful for senior citizens to climb up the stairs everytime.
The less said about the food the better. It was tasteless.

The room was good. But the way to the hotel was not easily accessible. Also there was a bad smell in the bathroom after the water ran for a few minutes.

Hotel just opened

we stayed one night in this property chosen by our tour operator. The hotel opened four months ago. It is located in open countryside past the village of Kajuraho. Very quiet in the chaos of India. of course the room is new like the rest of the structure , equipped with all the amenities from air conditioning to the shovel, to the possibility of opening the window. Friendly staff. the property in the front has a well-kept garden. Parking available. we had dinner at the restaurant in the evening ordering a pizza that was off the menu: good.

Very good location
