Kotagiri hotel with great service and food

Location - Fantastic
Food- Very tasty
People- Excellent Staff with manager Dorai, cook etc

Not a resort, Stand-Alone hotel with 8 Non-AC rooms, Homestay kind of arrangement

Not a resort, Stand-Alone hotel with 8 Non-AC rooms, No open space for any activity, Breakfast is there, but not Buffet, Idli-dosa & Pongal or Puri on every morning, Homestay kind of arrangement, 3 people runs it, a manager or owner, a cook & a room service guy. For room cleaning, a maid comes in the morning.
Wronly mentioned as AC-Delux rooms, No AC in all 8 rooms. Highly priced for such a room.

Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car.
Nice view from the room and property in general.
Staff and cook are very very polite.
Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating).

Cozy place in a laid back location

Excellent location within the small town, good staff, clean and spacious rooms, tasty breakfast.
i stayed thru Goibibo. Will recommend it to others. has parking for atleast 4 cars. rooms has good view

Your private den in Kotagiri

It is the place if you want to stay away from the maddening crowd and be with the serene nature. On top of a hill from where you get a beautiful view of tea gardens right from a big window of your room. It is made with a specific taste and for people who want to relax and enjoy the serenity of Kotagiri. There are two blocks, Pipal and Banyan and each have 4 rooms - 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. All the rooms are same except the rooms on the first floor get an additional common space between the two rooms. This is the place where you can relax sitting on the couch and enjoy the nature for hours. The entire area is covered with glass so pretty much safe for children.
The rooms are quite big in size with an awesome bed which is very comfortable. The room has a a big dressing area with closets. The bathroom is really big as well. The entire place is kept very tidy and well managed. The staff is very polite and attentive to your needs. The food is simply amazing. Limited varieties but mouthwatering and more importantly it is priced reasonably. They have a small restaurant but you will always find it clean and hygienic. The garden is small and beautiful with evenly cut grass and some of the best varieties of flowers. A picture perfect place. Parking is a bit of an issue especially when all the rooms are booked, but it is manageable. Stay little longer to enjoy the place as a stay of one night may not do justice to your trip. The connectivity to Ooty highway is less than 2 kms so you can go for a scenic drive and come back in about an hour or so.
