Good location and nice staff

Property is located near river and you can look beautiful mountain directly form hotel Room was clean and tidy. Only the issue of hot water the hotel near to market area and easily get accessibility for going to market.

Absolutely Avoid This Hotel
One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had during my 25-day, 8,000+ km road expedition across India.
The property is completely different from the impression created by its online listing. The approach road is extremely narrow, congested, and difficult to navigate, especially if you’re travelling in a large SUV. The hotel’s main entrance opens directly onto a busy market road, making it chaotic and unsuitable for travellers looking for a peaceful stay.
The biggest shock was that the hotel has no proper on-site parking. I was simply told that my vehicle would be parked somewhere else. Leaving a premium vehicle unattended at an unknown location was completely unacceptable.
Realising the property was nothing like what was portrayed, I requested cancellation immediately. Instead of understanding the situation or offering a reasonable solution, the management flatly refused to refund my money. Their attitude towards a genuine customer concern was disappointing and unprofessional.
This property is, in my opinion, a classic example of misleading presentation and poor customer service. If you are travelling with family, carrying expensive luggage, or driving your own vehicle, think twice before booking here.
There are plenty of better hotels in and around Kullu that genuinely value their guests. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
I will never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unsafe and Unacceptable Behavior by Hotel Staff
I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The general manager behaved in an extremely unprofessional and intimidating manner. He threatened me by saying that the hotel owner is a politician and implied that I could face consequences. He shouted at me and even threatened me and my family, which was very disturbing. He came to my room and told me to vacate because I had booked the room for two adults and did not mention my children (aged 10 and 5). However, the booking site clearly stated that the room can accommodate up to three adults. Despite this, they pressured me to pay extra charges. I explained that I was not asking for any additional mattress or bed for my children, but they still insisted on charging more and continued to harass us. This behavior is completely unacceptable and caused significant stress to my family. Overall, it was a horrible and stressful experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a very disappointing and unfair experience with Hotel Kullu Valley, Kullu.
I had a very disappointing and unfair experience with Hotel Kullu Valley, Kullu.
I booked a room through MakeMyTrip (MMT) for 30.12.2025. Unfortunately, my IndiGo flight was cancelled by the airline, which was completely beyond my control. Despite repeated follow-ups and providing a genuine and verifiable reason, the hotel refused to offer any partial or full refund.
Yes, the booking was marked as non-refundable, but I still approached the hotel in good faith, assuming there would be clear communication before any cancellation was initiated. Instead, I was casually asked to raise a request on the app. Later, after a call from the hotel, I was told to send the flight cancellation proof via WhatsApp.
At no point was it clearly communicated that the hotel had initiated or finalized the cancellation. Had I known this, I would not have cancelled the room at all and would have retained the booking. This resulted in the room being made unavailable to me unnecessarily.
What is extremely concerning is that the same room appeared on another booking website just a few hours after my cancellation, which clearly indicates that the hotel was able to resell it. This completely contradicts their claim of financial loss and makes their refusal to refund feel misleading and deceptive.
I understand hotels may incur losses due to cancellations, but lack of transparency, unclear communication, and refusal to act fairly in genuine circumstances is unacceptable. I was left feeling helpless and taken advantage of.
I strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious, especially in situations involving cancellations or emergencies. This experience has completely eroded my trust in this hotel.

Anyone travelling to Kullu Manali and planning to stay here , please note this hotel is located in Kullu in small lane and certainly near river but no view from rooms . In terms of balcony , it’s very small and covered balcony inside the room , please refer to picture to understand . There is no elevator either , if you have issues medically it will be painful for you . Also there is nothing to do near hotel , technically nothing to do in Kullu . Instead of staying here I recommend going to Kasol and staying there .
