Best experience with Miago!
My sister and I ended up at the villa in Mukteshwar by sheer chance during our holiday and it turned out to be the best 3 days we spent. The house is beautifully done, with ample open spaces and is best for chilling and enjoying the peace that the mountains have to offer. Strong wifi and has great cooks and caretaker on site, so is perfect for a staycation as well.
Staying with Miago was a breeze! Special call out to Sahil for going above and beyond - he offered us to stay in Mukteshwar without any hesitation when our original choice of stay didn’t work out, came with us while we moved between properties and ensured we settled in comfortably. We’ll be back travelling with Miago soon!!

Excellent stay
It was a great place to go with family and relax. The property is beautiful. The cook there prepares the most amazing chai.
The only issue that we faced was there is no full length mirror. But overall it was a great experience. Must go!

Super place !
We were a bunch of 7 friends, and took both the cottages. Absolutely stunning spaces, really spacious, well maintained and super clean. The service was exceptional, Deepu and jagjitji really sorted us out. The food is also really good, you need to let them know what you'd like to eat in advance. Unfortunately it was raining non stop when we went, so we couldn't really explore the area. Apparently there's a beautiful walk to the river nearby. The location is great because it's quiet, about 20 mins from Mukteshwar. We went to a couple of cafes nearby, really recommend chaandi maati for its kumaoni food ! One cottage is actually large enough for 5 people, and has really cute chilling spots, like the day bed on the study, and the attic room. The view of the mountains from our bedroom was something else. We also had a bonfire on one of the nights, and used the indoor fireplace as well (make sure the wood they use, is dry) Would definitely come back and stay here again :)

Loved it
We had an amazing time at the cottages and really loved the food that Deepu and the team prepared for us. We enjoyed walking down to the steam and every requirement was taken care of by the staff, all in all we will come back again

Work from Here: All day, everyday, all year
I must admit that when I first arrived, I was a tad worried about the wifi situation and getting any work done. But what happened was: Not only did I get work done with the soulful silence and speedy wifi, but I slept well, took in the stunning vistas and revelled in the comfort and warmth of Jagat Ji's hospitality.
You know that feeling of getting the right energy? Well, Mukteshwar is just that. Given that we were all women, we concerned about out our safety, whether we would be comfortable etc. But everything fit so well and I went to sleep every night blissfully and very peacefully.
Besides this hospitality, there's also a view from every room, scrumptious home cooked meals, the perfect balance between warmth and a slight nip in the air and a home that's replete with reading nooks. Given that most of us have had a bad year and a devastating few months, if you are privileged enough to take the trip to Mukteshwar via Miago (also highly recommend), do it. Just do it,
