Simple clean very friendly budget hotel
Clean comfortable hotel with very friendly accommodating staff. Away from the hustle and bustle and a short walk to Laxmi Temple with an amazing view.
Breakfast on the roof is simple but nice and plenty of places to go for lunch and dinner in walking distance. The hotel also owns a restaurant near the fort and they were kind enough to deliver food to us at the hotel for dinner.

Great value, great rooftop!
Dheeraj is a really friendly guy. He welcomed us and showed us the facility.
The rooms are big, specially the beds. We slept with three people in one of the king size beds.
The bathrooms are also quite big with hot water. All rooms were clean.
Theres a lounge where you can hang around. Also TV's in lounge and rooms. WiFi is also good.
Dheeraj also offer some breakfast with tea, chai, toast, butter, jam and really good masala omelette!
And best: There's a great rooftop where you can have the breakfast or whatever with an great view about the Laxmi Temple.
The towncenter center is in walking distance around 5-10 min from the guesthouse, also most of the temples.
Laxmi temple and the village Ganj (Friends of Orccha) are really close (500m).
If you need another blanket or whatever just ask them, Dheeraj and Rahul are really friendly and helpful.
We stayed three nights at the guest house and if we would return, we would definitely stay here again.

Poor -- do not believe what is said on booking sites
I believed the Lonely Planet review, and also the description of facilities on a booking site. When I stayed I think I was the only guest. The staff were three boys, who slept in the corridor under blankets. There was no balcony, no view, no catering on site (they tried to sell me breakfast, but if I had bought it would have been in one of the restaurants down in the village. There was no heating in the room and the wires had been pulled out of the plug of the airconditioner. The water failed (I think there was a problem with the electric pump which gets the water up into the property) and when they got the water back the failure had caused the water heater in my room's bathroom to fail. When I came to leave we had a battle of wills because I had been unable to get cash in the village (none of the ATM's would work for me) and despite saying on the booking website that they took credit cards they did not have a machine. They wanted me to get on the back of a motorbike without a crash helmet so they could take me to an ATM; I refused and in the end they got someone with a credit card machine from the village. AVOID

Clean and cheap
The hotel is situated a little bit far from the main attractions of Orchha, but all the distances are walkable, if sometimes attention on the streets maybe a little bit annoying. Place is quiet and clean, not luxury, but you'll get everything you need. They even gave me personal router when I wanted the wifi connection. Very decent economy stay.

Great value hotel in Orachha
Good value... Cheap actually for a comfortable double room (king-size bed) with modern bathroom and boiling hot water. Quiet area away from the bustle but only 5 minute walk to center. Right near Laxmi temple with great view from the rooftop. No restaurant but tea is served and the staff are very friendly. Manager is helpful and speaks good English. Good mobile wifi device provided.
