A Budget Hotel within 5 minutes walking from major tourist spots

We had a great stay at this Budget Hotel for two days from 7th Nov to 9th Nov 2025. Location was superb - just 5 minutes walking from the Ram Raja temple and the Chturbhuj temple. They are within the same complex. Walk for another 5 minutes - one can reach the Orchha Fort. There is a light & Sound show between 7.45 to 8.45 in English and 8.45 to 9.45 in Hindi. The show was good. Within the Fort complex was Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (now hotel). Royal Cenotaphs are within another 10 minutes.
The hotel is not recommended for old people or people with Knee problems, because of steep stairs. Hotel owner runs a provision store at the ground floor and his son Sachin runs the Hotel. He has a golden heart, very helpful. He organised an e-Rickshaw for Rs.1000 for full days Orchha trip including the forest trip. E-Rickshaw driver Sanjeev was a very nice boy. He can be contacted on 8643019116.
The hotel is very economical. Rs.3000 for 2 Pax and 2 Nights including BF. Room was clean, toilet was well maintained with hot water facility.
I strongly recommend this hotel for travellers to the city.

The room was very filthy, there was dirt on the bed sheets. I booked a room with a view of the city but the room provided was completely different. The toilet was the worst. There was no hot water facility. There was a soap bar which was previously used. There were smelly rags which were used to clean the toilet still lying around. Overall PATHETIC
