Courteous staff

The hotel fits in what it advertised budget hotel,the rooms are clean and nice with all required furniture, staff are courteous, room service 24 hour ,provide a delicious and tasty breakfast in much quantity, good hotel for stay

Will not suggest for some one who prefers cleanliness

Location okay as it walking distance from platform 1 of patna railway station. Food quality such that I didn't even complete my breakfasta & then I didn't order any food.
Rooms - very old fashioned bathroom ( check image), bed linens having stains ( check image ) , small cockroaches in the room ( check images ). Chairs have rust. Do not book seeing the images on the travel websites.
Will suggest not to go for this.

कमरे - बहुत पुराने जमाने का बाथरूम (चित्र देखें), दाग-धब्बे वाले बिस्तर के लिनेन (चित्र देखें), कमरे में छोटे तिलचट्टे (चित्र देखें)। कुर्सियों में जंग लग गयी है. यात्रा वेबसाइटों पर चित्र देखकर बुकिंग न करें।

The hotel is in a good location but the rooms are very small in size. AC is very old and not cooling properly.

No rooms for tourists!

We booked a room with this hotel, we asked to fill in a form prior to arrival which we did. We sent a message in English explaining we oils be arriving by train at 2am, the hotel replied saying this was okay. when we arrived we were told that foreigners are not allowed to stay at the hotel. The hotel knew that we were English before we arrived as we had to provide passport details in the pre arrival form and also all our correspondence was in English.
To leave us out on the street in an unknown Indian city at 2am is completely unacceptable.
Luckily a rickshaw driver took us to a nice little hotel around the corner Hotel Lilly.

Denied entry due to being foreigners despite a confirmed online booking

I booked Hotel Buddha International via Booking.com for two nights for our stay in Patna. As requested by the property, I completed an online check-in prior to our arrival, providing a copy of my British passport as required. I also messaged the hotel ahead of time advising them of our late arrival time - which they confirmed with an ‘OK’. Upon arriving in the area at night, I called the hotel to ask for directions. At this point, the hotel representative asked me where I was from: when I told them I was from the UK, they said that unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to come and stay at the hotel as no foreigners were allowed at the premise! This came to us as a complete shock and surprise. It was past 2am at night and we were stranded in an unknown Indian city with no accommodation. Needless to say this was very inconvenient. Nowhere on the hotel’s listing on Booking.com does it mention the limitations that people with non-Indian passports aren’t allowed to stay! Also, we had already been exchanging messages prior to this moment and I had provided information on my nationality as requested, so I’m not sure why they didn’t alert me earlier before I was practically knocking on their door. I really don’t think this hotel should be allowed to advertise on Booking.com, a global platform, unless they can accommodate all people making bookings online - or at least make it very clear that it’s only available to those with a specific passport. Lastly: it’s pretty misleading to call your hotel ‘International’ but not allowing international guests. To summarise: it doesn’t sit right for a hotel to accept bookings on a global online platform and then denying entry from those arriving at night after long day of travel. Advice to hotel: please immediately update your online listing description and policies and make it clear who is allowed to stay and who isn’t to avoid future guests from having the same awful experience as we did.
