Decent hotel to stay.

Decent hotel to stay , Venkat Babu ,the manager, is very helpful. My suggestion is to change bath linen to change on a daily basis and otherwise all ok . Hotel situated at good location for food , transport and everything.

Heart of town ..just a place to stay overnight

Aditya inn is located right next to pondi bus stand.. neighbourhood is not quite great and not maintained at all.. however this hotel is well maintained and is fine for a night stay... Budget friendly...

Never book this hotel

Very bad staff and very unpolite.
Made us sit in reception to give us the room key.
We planned to stay in hotel only for 3 hrs. One hour is wasted convincing staff itself.
Very bad experience.
Do not respect us if booking is made online. We made using goibibo.
Staff advice us to come directly , they will charge us less.

We are extremely sorry for the bad experience you had in our Front Office.
As clearly explained to you, you had made a booking for one person, but requested check-in for 2 Adults, and 2 Children. However, we accepted your request, and asked you to pay the rates for 2 Adults. Since you were insisting that the check-in for 2+2 should be made in the same rates, we are unable to satisfy your request. Further, after repeated requests from you, we got special permission from the management to allow check-in for 2+2 persons, with an extra amount of just 50 Rs. which also you declined. Finally, we made check-in only for one person, as provided in your booking voucher, and provided seats for the rest of your family in our reception.
Providing accommodation for 2+2 pax at the rate of single person is what you expected which our Hotel policy doesnt permit.

Excellent Location for Bus Travel

We very much enjoyed staying at Aditya Inn. Easy if traveling by bus to walk to location right behind the terminal and to catch bus when leaving. Everything was great - bed, shower, electric, water. Just don’t open up windows as mosquitoes will come in. Staff was quite nice and helpful. Restaurant next door had good food. Easy to get by rickshaw to esplanade and ashram - or city buses. And super reasonable!

Facilities are good. Receptionist cheated

The character of the staff was very bad. We booked the room two weeks ago and we wanted early check in. I called and enquired about it and they said it's fine . Don worry about check in and all. I booked the room for 999/- . Once I reached there in the morning at 5 am, the receptionist guy told its 1300/- for ac room. When I told I booked for 999/- in booking .com he told its non ac room.. since we had no other choice we payed extra 200/- and then he told its ok since we din have a over night stay . I told I will check out at 10 pm . In evening I heard people coming and enquiring about room and the same guy was saying 1000/- for ac room. Then I questioned him and he started to bluff.. the guy does not have any integrity. He told 300/- extra is for booking online.. The biggest comedy is there was no ac working from 9pm to 10pm.. I enquired about the ac not working properly and he said it's power cut. They can't do anything. once it was 9:45 pm they started knocking the door and I found the cleaning staff ready to clean the room.. the room and reachabllity is good.. the receptionist behaviour is very pathetic .. security guy helped us a lot ..
