Dumas Guest House in Pondicherry

This guest house is run by a lovely Tamil couple of French descent. The individual rooms are set in a lovely garden area and are well maintained and clean. Breakfast is a choice of continental or Indian and both are lovely. As is the coffee. The house is situated close to many wonderful eating places and is very close to the promenade offering wonderful sea views.
We were 4 friends visiting and loved finding out about the history and culture of the area. Your hosts will recommend places to visit and eateries.

Ideal for a stay in the heart of Pondicherry

Ideally located in the heart of the white city and a stone's throw from the beach, Dumas Guest house is a house steeped in history. Large rooms arranged along a courtyard with a hundred flower pots, a warm and delicate hostess. An ideal place for rest after days of walking in the city.

Beautiful house in Pondicherry

Beautiful house in the white city, therefore well located for visiting Pondicherry and close to the sea to stroll on the promenade and breathe the sea spray. The very friendly owners speak French. Breakfast could be improved.

Nice oasis to visit Puducherry.

A nice room and a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are located in a green courtyard where you can relax. Breakfast is also served there. The rooms are clean and have a spacious bathroom. The staff are helpful and nice.

Very charming

Very well located in the "western" district of Punducherry. A stone's throw from the seaside and close to many restaurants.
The rooms are located along a small, quiet garden. Friendly welcome from Jackie who provided us with all the necessary advice for visiting the surrounding area. Good breakfast. Wifi ok.
