Acceptable accommodation in a lovely building

The Ram is perfectly acceptable. The rooms are large and everything works as it should. Mattress didn't have enough depth or 'give' in it for us. Centrally located it is fine. We had to ask for a toilet roll... which they didn't have, so we bought some napkins locally!

A little outdated

It's more of a hotel than a management house
A bit far from the center
Very friendly welcome and even in French
My room is a little shabby especially the bathroom but it's clean
Simple breakfast on the roof terrace
Local restaurants nearby for the evening
Lots of things to do in Pondicherry which is a magnificent city

Good for weekend stay

Nice place - close to railway station and walkable distance to White town. Rooms are basic but clean. Property is built in '90s but constructed in traditional style. No restaruant but plenty of eating places nearby. Only drawback is no parking available for cars.

Heritage stay

Ambience of the guest house is nice, gives the feel of living in Tamil Nadu. Lobby is beautifully decorated every morning. Rooms are small though and lighting is not good inside room. Location is good as beach is at walkable distance and lot of eateries around.

Relax stay

The location was good and each and every place was easily accessible. The rooms were okay. not much big and not even small. The restroom was very tiny and not spacious enough. The interior area was nice and arranged well to give it a feel of traditional houses. The lovely part is they are petting a dog who was too playful and friendly with the guests.
One suggestion for them is to provide white lights inside the room. the dim lights may be power saving but not comfortable. WiFi was provided for free but room service should be more active. Overall it is a good stay with nice time in the open terrace in the evening.
