Uplifting, grounding, re-centering

Journeying back to where I currently live, my heart is split. Part of me is still in Tapovan with my Anandamaya Retreat family. Staying at Anandamaya is not only comfortable, clean and safe; it is filled with joy and love emanating from the genuine souls that host you. Akki cooked delicious healthy meals for me every day and also offers traditional Indian cooking classes. Ashish- Jaideva read my son’s and my own vedic astrology charts. He held my hand through an amazing experience of self re-discovery by personally taking me to rituals, pujas (devotional prayers & offerings), and intention setting practices. Bharat generously provided his knowledge of the digerido and his tenderness in, much needed, sound healing sessions. Grasha lead me through a personalized energizing yoga sequence. And Rohit, oh Dr. Rohit; my token of peace and joy re-igniting self love by introducing me to the world of rythm, song and channelizing inspiration. His harmonium course and private sound healing therapies connected me to my internal peace.
It was my first Rishikesh trip of many more to come. This was a journey of experiencing life’s gifts/learnings through beautiful channels of light. A piece of my soul will stay with each one of them until our next encounter. Namaste Anandamaya family Ji!
