Excellent Food & Memorable Stay at Narwar Lakefront Resort

We recently stayed at Narwar Lakefront Resort as a family group of 16 people, and the experience was truly wonderful.
A special mention goes to Chef Dayanand for the fabulous food throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, catering perfectly to the preferences of our large family group. The quality, taste, and presentation were exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The resort itself offered a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and the hospitality extended by the staff was warm and attentive. From the comfortable stay to the excellent dining experience, everything exceeded our expectations.
Thank you, Chef Dayanand and the entire team, for making our family gathering so memorable. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with outstanding food and service.

Excellent place to spend time with family.

Excellent place to stay in a quite serine environment. Good facility and good helpful/polite staff. Few clinks on the food side - but they are all very much fixable.
A special shoutout to the Front Desk Manager Harshit. Even though he is in his early days of his career - he showed a great maturity in managing and addressing our needs. A special thanks to him and all the staff.

Not Worth the Hype or the Money

First of all, the stay was not worth the price. We were 14 people and had booked 7 cottages. The rooms were smelly, and although the cottage bathrooms had jacuzzis, the strong pipeline odor made it impossible to enjoy them. They could have at least used proper air fresheners, but instead, they relied on average Odonil fresheners, which have their own unpleasant smell that most people don’t like.
The breakfast was below average. For such a high-end and expensive hotel, one would expect a proper continental breakfast. Instead, it felt no different from what you’d get at a budget hotel—certainly not a luxury experience.
The property itself is beautiful, but overall, it is just not worth the price. i would not visit it again thats for sure. Even my whole group is not excited to visit it again.

A Beautiful Property, but Falls Short on Service and Experience

As avid travelers with a deep love for exploring unique resorts and luxury stays across India, we recently visited Narwar Lakefront Resort with high expectations. The property itself is undeniably picturesque — perched alongside a serene waterbody and enveloped by lush greenery, it offers a truly scenic escape. However, while the setting is stunning, the overall experience left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, the service standards fell significantly short of expectations. The staff showed little enthusiasm in hosting us; basic courtesies like greetings were often overlooked. Such indifference is disappointing, especially at a place that positions itself as a premium resort.
Our room experience was no better. Despite having a jacuzzi, we couldn’t use it — it was constantly occupied by insects, even though we kept the windows shut. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor that made the stay less comfortable.
We had also been informed about a speedboat ride that was advertised as a 15-minute experience, but the ride barely lasted 6-7 minutes. While the short duration itself isn’t a major issue, what bothers us is the misleading communication. Guests value honesty, not exaggerated claims.
Another activity we tried was the night safari, which was marketed as a 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm experience. In reality, we were brought back by 9:45 pm. More disappointing was the guide's lack of expertise. As adventure enthusiasts who have explored nearly every major national park in India, we could immediately sense signs of a kill site nearby, something any competent guide should have picked up on — but ours didn’t. Again, this points to a lack of professionalism and training.
At ₹4100 for such experiences, we expected better — or at the very least, an experience that aligned with what was promised. False advertising, coupled with indifferent service, leaves a bitter aftertaste.
Final Verdict:
Visit Narwar Lakefront Resort only if you’re willing to overlook these issues and simply want to enjoy the natural beauty. Otherwise, this property seriously needs to invest in better staff training and deliver on its promised experiences — or it risks losing relevance in a market where guests have far better alternatives.

Memory of a Lifetime

Narwar Lakefront is a hidden gem by the serene Madikheda Dam. Waking up to the stunning lake views from the cottages was an experience in itself. The property is beautifully maintained, and the staff made sure everything was just perfect.
The solar-powered boat ride was the highlight—calm waters, wildlife, and the expanse of the reservoir created memories to cherish. The food was fresh and flavorful, and though the service was a bit slow, the warmth of the staff made up for it.
A peaceful retreat that’s perfect for recharging. Highly recommend it!
