Avoid this

The pillows and mattress are the hardest I have slept on. They fleece customers. It's a very badly maintained houseboat. Even if you stay there, do not ask them to get you taxis or Shikara rides because they charge more than the going rate. For instance, we paid Rs 2500 for a Shikara ride worth Rs 500. We didn't know we had been cheated till later. The walls between rooms are so thin that you can hear everything that people talk in the next room. So, there is absolutely no privacy. The toilets also don't flush properly. Hot water is available only for a couple of hours in the morning. They overcharge for rooms too... different rates for different people. Best avoided

Chilling at Srinigar paradise

I had a very good time in this homestay in Srinigar, I planned two days but as I felt so happy and relaxed I extended few days more to immersed in this paradise, the family treat me like a old friend and I love drink tea while seeing the shikaras going on in the lake.

Awesome experience

We had a family trip to Kashmir and Sajid bhai helped me alot in many things. They also arranged us a budget car for sightseeing and provided the hospitality like home and they treated us like family.

Feedback on Island boathouse dal lake

I was on solo trip for kashmir in feb 2021 and I stayed at island boathouse hotel where all the hotels people are very helpful and friendly I loved the hospitality I received from those . specially I would like to thanks Sajid bhai who always helped me in getting the things at time.i Would suggest all the tourist to stay at this boathouse because it is located at place from where you can see the amazing view of dal lake also it is safe for all the tourists and the foods was quite delicious here.
