A decent budget option in Thanjavur
However management of the premises could be improved; on arrival around 2:00pm, the manager had stepped out to the bank, and did not make arrangements with the housekeeper to remain at reception. It was a stranger who happened to be waiting at the same time (it is a shared use building), who called the missing manager for me. In 45 minutes, all was settled.
There is a parking lot adjacent, and not far from local services (hospitals, shops, eateries) and the famous temple/palace of Thanjavur. Although busy during the day, the road is quiet at night, for a good night's rest.
