A memorable one night stay at the Seclude Karthika Nivas Trissur
We had a one night stay at the Seclude Karthika Nivas Heritage home in Trissur , Kerala , India on our way to Bangalore . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality provided by Mr.Vimal and his staff . The food was really homely and delicious and used local ingredients which we loved . We stayed at the attic room Akasha which was a very different experience as the room had a sky deck kind of feel and was cozy in the rains . The peacocks around the place gave us a wake up alarm and the entire property gave us a feel of our ancestral Nalukettu courtyard homes in Kerala . Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this place for a wholesome Kerala experience . A few suggestions - Mirrors are still not installed in akasha bathroom and entertainment option is not there ( TV ) though we enjoyed the cricket sounds from the 25+ acre property as well ! Thanks to the Seclude staff for making us feel and home during our stay !

A wonderful and memorable stay!
Seclude Karthika Nivas is one of the best antique homes we’ve visited. Beautifully set by the river with frequent peacock sightings, it truly captures the charm of traditional Kerala architecture.
We stayed for two days and found it very convenient to visit nearby beautiful and famous places in Thrissur.
The hospitality was outstanding. Special thanks to manager Bhimal for making our stay comfortable, Shashikanth for the delicious food, and Maari for all the help around the property.
Highly recommended for a peaceful, heritage-rich stay in Thrissur!

Best hotel experience in India + peacocks!
The place was so beautiful, decorated so well and surrounded by peacocks and nature. Unbestable surrounding and the rooms were very clean and well mantained. The staff was also so kind and always very helpful. My best stay in India by far. I felt like I was at home.

wonderful experience
Rooms: rooms are spacious, cozy, neat & clean.
Safety: Property is very safe, its near trikkur bridge easily accesible from thrissur town, It's An old Vintage Kerala Style House Beautiful Interiors, Great Design It feels like they have given a whole New Life To the House ,Special Thanks to the staff Espadrilles Bimal, Nadeem and Sanju They were all there helping us out, Just need Some work more to be done,The pathway needs to be maintained lights needed
Walkability: resort is easily accesible
Food and drinks: food was yummy and kudos to chef shashikant and service boys sachin & pradeep.
Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Great value

Great Place for a staycation
The location was very calm and the villa was wonderful especially The rooms Vayu and Akasha. I also enjoyed the food and service offered by the people there. The rooms were very clean. They also had a vegan and eco friendly amenities in the toilets.
