Our awesome experience of celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Taj Lake Palace , Udaipur
We stayed at the Taj Lake Palace to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. My words may not do justice to the absolutely wonderful experience we had there...but I still am going to try...The location off course is so perfect for a relaxed and idyllic holiday especially for couples....The atmosphere is majestic considering it is right in the middle of the lake surrounded by the majestic City Palace on the Eastern side and the Western side adorned with the silhouettes of the beautiful Aravalli range with Sajjangad rising in the distance. Our wonderful room...we stayed in a Palace Lake View room..very regal and comfortable... with its beautiful lake views and the direct view of the setting sun was awesome in all terms ....To talk about value...The Dining experiences at the Neelkamal and Jharokha is just so satisfying...the quality of the dishes was so nice and the attention to detail ..including providing a complimentary dish to help reset our tongue as we move from one course to another to ensure that the first morsel of each course becomes a refreshing gastronomical experience....while I have already spoken so much about the hotel...the real reason why a good experience becomes great / wonderful is because of the people who provided the various services for you during our stay....Every person from Taj was just awesome in terms of their overall service , attitude to customers and exemplary focus on exceeding the customers needs / expectations .........While it's difficult for me to name all the wonderful folks who made our stay so nice ....let me name a few ( who represent all the folks )...Shruti for her welcome and helping us with various arrangements.....Chef Babu Singh , Anop, Pradeep, Amit, Chirag , Yuvraj, Anoushka, Ashley, Vijay etc.. for all the wonderful experiences at Neelkamal and Jharokha.... every boat pilot.....all of whom very out of their way to help take memorable photos ...Manjeet (guide) of the informative and engaging Heritage tour.....our chauffeur Narayan for the wonderful advice and guidance at various sight seeing spots.. etc. ..Hats off to Taj for creating such a wonderful service culture and the folks at Taj Lake Palace in exceeding our expectations .....We will be back with our kids hopefully soon on another wonderful holiday at the Taj Lake Palace .....Absolute value in all respects for our anniversary holiday....Thanks for everything
