One of Sanur top spots to stay Kubu Di Kayla Homestay

Kubu Di Kayla's homestay is our home away from home. It is located at the north end of Sanur's main road. Location is perfect for local eateries , Massage salons, Pharmacy next door, within 10 minute stroll to beach. Rooms are spacious and have plenty of storage space. Homestay staff are awesome and the owners Rame and Putu run a laundry service. This place is designed for solo travellers and couples. No Pool or food service which is great for us. We have now done 5 stays over past 3 yrs and booked again for Feb2026. Sanur now has electric shuttle buses to transport you along the main road with a stop very close. Pricing is for short and long term stays.

All was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kubu Di-Kayla's. The room was spacious, clean, lots of shelves and drawers to organize your belongings. The bed was very comfortable with soft matrass. The little sitting area in front of each unit adds the coziness and comfort.
Location is perfect, the night market is a few steps away, as well as a good restaurant called Warung Pengkola. A lovely bakery, called Roti Made Bakery, is also near by. We usually buy the fresh fruits at the night market and store them in the mini fridge in our room.
The owners allow the guests to use a little kitchenette, where we cut our fruits, made the tea or coffee and enjoyed all with the fresh pastries from the bakery.
We highly recommend the Kubu Di-Kayla's and would stay there again.

Brilliant stay at Kubu Di-Kaylas

Kubu Di-Kaylas was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed at whilst travelling SE Asia! Everything was new and clean and fresh and there was even boiling hot water from the shower! The owners were so lovely. You could use their kitchen facility to cook and the room came equipped with a large fridge. Beds were comfy as were the pillows, really there is nothing to complain about. The location is good - right on the main strip and 2 min walk from the night market. If you want to go the beach I would say you need a taxi or motorbike via grab or gojek as it’s about a 30 min walk. There’s a cheap motorbike rental just round the corner on the main road - 60,000rp per day and a laundry shop left and left again for 7000rp per kilo.
If you book direct you get a good rate.

Great place!

Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn’t recommend it more! The place was very spacious, quiet, well located, good WiFi and the staff was available and kind. The pictures are accurate and for this price range you get a lot of value by staying here.

Hidden gem in the heart of Sanur!

I have enjoyed Sanur area most of it because of Kubu di Kayla.
This place is amazing, located in the heart of Ubud. It is just 5 mins walk to Sindu beach. There are lots of restaurants and caffees around. Please do not miss the traditional market close to the homestay, especially during night since you can find many indonesian food stalls for your dinner!
The room and Kubu homestay area is more than I expected before. All is well furnished and designed. I am so lucky that I can stay here when all things are really in good condition. I have no problem at all with this.
What makes my stay more special is Pak Made's puppies, Gus and Chicko that like to play with.
The communication with Pak Made is so smooth. He is humble, friendly and so helpful.
Thank you Pak Made.
For all the good things here, I would say the price is super worth it.
Strongly reccomend to stay here and I will be absolutely interested to return to this place again!
